Training: the key to success in the tourism industry.

Aware of the importance of tourism to the economy, the Valencian Government has launched a pioneering project to bring together a range of educational centres specialising in tourism, to form a nationwide network. This is also known as a CdT (Centro de Turismo, or Tourism Centre) Network.

The training they provide is vital for workers in a sector such as tourism, which is growing ever more competitive and globalised. As such, quality service and adequate training emerge as the only path to success in the national and international tourist industry.

The training activities offered at the CdT can be boiled down into three basic areas: Occupational Training, Further Education and Customised Training.

These courses are completely free, are partially funded by European Social Fund and are aimed at tourism companies, public institutions and professional and business associations.
